Founded by Sherri Nordyke, Clara’s Closet is a non-profit 501c3 foundation founded in 2011.  Our mission is to lower the infant mortality rate in the rural areas of Oregon.  We are dedicated to ensuring safe sleep for infants by providing safe sleep education and safe sleeping environments for infants in need. We also provide basic newborn supplies for our most vulnerable newborns. We supply a baby box complete with a safe place for baby to sleep. essential clothing, diapers, safety items and books for newborn infants. Clara’s Closet currently has a home office and storage space in our Willamina home. This aids us streamlining our distribution channels, making it possible to distribute items throughout several counties. After starting Clara's Closet, we began partnering with social service agencies in our local area to help reach as many children as possible.
